About

Preaching, worth keeping

Oikos Sermons is a curated library of sermons from living preachers. Every sermon comes with a word-synced transcript: as the preacher speaks, the words light up on the page — and tapping any word takes the audio to that exact moment. It reads like a book and listens like a sermon.

The library is free, with no accounts and no paywall. Our aim is simple: make faithful preaching easier to hear, easier to follow, and easier to share — especially for readers, note-takers, non-native listeners, and anyone who studies with the text open.

Every sermon is here by permission

Nothing enters this library without the written permission of the ministry that holds the rights to it. We ask first, we keep the agreement on file, and every sermon page carries the ministry’s attribution line. If a ministry ever changes its mind, one request unpublishes everything of theirs — immediately.

We never edit the preaching. Transcripts are verbatim — generated by speech recognition, aligned to the audio word by word, and reviewed for accuracy. The audio itself is only processed for loudness, so a sermon sounds the same here as it did in the room.

For ministries

If you lead or serve a ministry whose preaching you’d like to see here: we’d love to talk. You keep your rights; you grant us redistribution permission we can point to; we handle the transcription, the read-along, and the hosting — and your sermons reach readers your podcast feed doesn’t.

There’s no cost, and no lock-in: you can revoke permission at any time, and your sermons come down at once.
